Spreading Smiles During Hard Times- Lily's Toy Box

Lily’s Toy Box Donates Toys To The Children Of Frontline Workers

Eleven year old Lily DuBose of Houston, Texas is making waves during the 2020 Corona virus catastrophe. It all started in 2017 right after Hurricane Harvey decimated the city of Houston. Lily felt sad watching other children her age go through the pain and loss caused by the floods and felt compelled to help. She looked at the toys in her room and that spurred an idea, to give her toys to those who had lost theirs. Soon after, one of the recipients parents decided to help Lily turn her efforts into a non-profit to continue her mission. Lily’s Toy Box was born and Lily is still pressing forward with the help of her parents Jessica and James.

How We Know The DuBose Family

Last year we had the pleasure of building the new home for the DuBose family. While working with them, we got to learn about Lily’s Toy Box and their amazing impact on the community. Their selflessness and care for others made them an absolute joy to work for.

We are elated to see Lily and her family spreading the best thing they can during a pandemic, smiles.
